Hello everyone. We hope all our customers – past, present and future, had an amazing Christmas and a happy New Year.

This is a blog showcasing our favourite tattoos by all of our artists from 2016. We’ll also post some links to some of our best blogs, which you may have missed the first time round.

Jo and Hanumantra were busy doing large scale work, both here and overseas. Hanumantra will be taking more work on here in Birmingham at MBA in 2017, so now would be a great time to book in for some awesome blackwork tattooing.

Our favourite piece by Ricardo was this barong upper back tattoo.

Grace continued her love of movie and cartoon inspired tattoos, with Mr Pointy from Buffy The Vampire Slayer being a highlight. Charlotte spent the year creating beautiful nature inspired tattoos, including this vibrant dragonfly tattoo.

Ellie continued working on a lot of large scale Japanese tattoos and completed this dragon and koi sleeve, which we think looks amazing. She’s now moved on to her customer’s other arm which we can’t wait to see finished.

Matt continues to impress with his unique take on graphic and abstract tattoos, whilst Frances was busy doing her modern take on traditional tattoos with this awesome fox tattoo.

Greg and Ethan produced some quality black and grey tattoos last year. We love the start Greg made on this pirate sleeve and Ethan’s portrait of Audrey Hepburn is breathtaking.

Here is a selection of piercings using jewellery from QualiTi for either the initital piercing or for a jewellery upgrade. We think it’s safe to say that our customers have great taste.

Many of our blog posts have been extremely popular. If you did miss them the first time round, check them out.

Frank Turner is a long standing customer of the shop, with a lot of work by Matt Hunt. He very kindly wrote us a blog about his introduction to the world of tattoos. If you haven’t already, read it here.

Our informative blogs seemed to go down really well. We had a great response to our “How can I reduce the pain when getting tattooed?” and “Everything you wanted to know about Laser Tattoo Removal” posts. We’re so glad you found them helpful.

Professional photographer and friend of the shop, Steve Gerrard spent the day capturing the guys at work. If you’ve always wondered what it looks like inside MBA, check this post out.

We’d like to thank all our customers again for making 2016 so great. Let’s make 2017 even better!
