Modern Body Art only collects information via “Directly Provided Data”

When you get tattooed, pierced or lasered we are required by the council’s licensing department to get you to fill in a consent form. All this information requires a direct action by you at that time in order for us to receive it. We also use a GDPR compliant third party web based appointment system (acuity) that uses phone and email  so we can can contact you with appointment confirmations and reminders. 

How long do we keep your data for?

Modern Body Art retains your information (consent forms) for 5 years, the minimum term required of us by the council and licensing department. 

If legally required or if it is reasonably necessary to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, we may also retain some of your information for a limited period of time as required, even after 5 years.

Modern Body Art will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information, gathered as a result of filling out the site registration form, to anyone.
